While the Food and Drug Administration considers regulating the burgeoning cannabis-derivative market, food and drink sellers are racing to put cannabidiol in their products.

New York-based salad and sandwich chain Fresh&Co., a popular spot for Manhattan’s grab-and-go lunch hordes, recently rolled out a limited time, CBD-infused “4/20” menu, a reference to the unofficial marijuana holiday.

Caliva, a popular California marijuana brand, recently hired a senior ModCloth executive to head up its retail expansion, Business Insider has learned.

Elizabeth Cooksey, who was hired by the women's fashion brand in 2016 to build out its brick-and-mortar presence, will take on a similar role at Caliva as the startup's head of retail. She previously worked in senior retail roles at Nike, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie.
